Timing is the best factor that makes bluffing a success stint. Many poker players however use bluffing too many times inappropriately that it lost its essence of giving the poker player opportunity to make their way to winning the pot through an artful deception.

While it is essential to know when the best timing to bluff a poker opponent it is as important to also know when not to bluff. Here are seven common reasons where a poker player should put hold their urge to bluff.

1. When your poker opponents sense a pattern in your bluffing tactics and you believe they are expecting you to make a bluff in a particular hand play round, don't bluff. It will only make a player become prone to sharks waiting for the player to make their expected move to bluff and to attack for the kill.

2. Once other players lately caught you to be bluffing it is not the best time to pull off another bluffing gig since you are become more predictable to other players. Loose players are likely to play poker with the inclination to stay on the game regardless of the value of their playing hands just to keep other players on the game honest. Poker buff often is useless to loose players so playing a straight game is better when playing against loose players.

6. Once you are in the blind position and show a hint to other players that you have a weak hand you opponents will be expecting you to bluff to give strength on your weak hand. Again, make bluffing an unpredictable action to take.

7. Once you lose a big hand or been losing series of hand in a game, other players on the table will be expecting you to bluff as they are expecting you to be on a tilt and they will be ready to call on you. Hence it is best to play in a manner that is opposite to what your opponents expect of you.
